4X (Set of 4) CTS Custom Spec'd 525K SHORT/split, knurled shaft, audio taper potentiometers + pair (2X) .022uf / 200v 716P Capacitors and buss wire for grounding pots. We're are pleased to offer our own custom branded and spec'd pots manufactured by CTS. These are identical in construction to CTS's high quality 450G series pots, but we spec'd them at 525K. At 10% tolerance the value of these pots can range from 475K to 575K, and the majority of these pots will be in the 500K to 550K range. This means no exceptionally low or high resistance pots that can be found when using a typical 20% tolerance 500K pots. Note: 1. If you are uncertain whether your guitar uses short (3/8") or long (3/4") shaft pots, as a general rule this pot will fit most USA-made Gibson Les Paul's manufactured before 1977 excluding Les Paul Studios, and will fit historic reissues, but please double check before you order. 2. TAOT Custom potentiometer set…THE BEST!
These have been my go to potentiometers for all of my guitars. Anytime I buy a new or used Gibson, it gets a set of these. I’ve even started putting them in all my other various guitars as well. They are just that good. They bring life to your guitar, giving it a more full sound. They will change your opinion on a set of pickups for sure. The 10% tolerance keeps them all extremely close to each other and the quality is second to none. As far as The Art of Tone, I have found them to be one of if not the best company to deal with since finding them about 10yrs ago. Shipping is always fast and they’ve never hesitated to answer any questions I’ve had. When you look at the prices of buying these parts individually from any of the big name electronics retailers, the price is better at TAOT. Can’t be beaten in my book which is why I only buy my aftermarket electronics from them.
