The Mason Deluxe story: Original PAFs varied due to inconsistent wire gauges and winding tolerances across different machines and wire spools. These unintentional variations created the legendary tones players still chase today.

Our approach takes those happy accidents and makes them repeatable. By intentionally using 2 distinct variations of 42 gauge plain enamel wire per coil, we've engineered the magic into every pickup. The Aged Vintage Mason Deluxe pairs this precise tonal recipe with a cosmetic aging treatment that gives you the weathered, played-in appearance collectors prize—without the vintage price tag or reliability concerns.

Baked-In Vintage Tone On Day One: Our proprietary Field Charging magnetization technique aligns the polepieces, slugs, and vintage-formulated rough cast Alnico 4 magnet as a unified system, establishing a settled magnetic field from initial assembly.
