If you have a cheaper guitar and are replacing your pots these really can't be beat for making a lower end guitar really shine. Added these to a single coil plus Seymour Duncan hot rail setup in a Squier Mustang and they really transformed the guitar.
Always go CTS.
It’s fine but very loose—the rotating part rattles from side to side.
Replaced a crackling 500k volume pot with one of these on a dual humbucker guitar. Smooth and great quality build. Took off some of the shrill highs that I really dislike and made the bridge pickup more usable. I am a fan of warmer tones.
Used 2 two of these for a vintage Gibson bass, that used 300K pots for volume. Had to desolder and resolder. Now they don’t work. Replaced one with a 250K pot, and have to buy another. Never ever ever have I had pots fail after such little usage. It happens I guess.
