Custom CTS 500k Pot Long Shaft Potentiometer
We are proud to offer our custom CTS 500k pot long shaft potentiometer, designed for guitar enthusiasts seeking precision and reliability. Ideal for Les Pauls, hollow-body guitars, or any instrument with thick or curved tops, this premium potentiometer is perfect for both tone and volume controls.
Key Features
- 500k Ohm Resistance: The industry standard for humbucker pickups, delivering optimal tonal clarity.
- ±10% Tolerance: Ensures consistent performance and the tone you expect from your guitar.
- Audio Taper: Provides a smooth, natural transition in sound across the entire range of motion.
- Durable Rotation: Standard friction ensures your settings stay secure during performances or precise adjustments.
- Crystal Clear Stamping: Know exactly what your pot is at a glance.
Physical Fit
- Split Knurled Shaft: Features a 24-tooth, fine-knurled shaft (.235" diameter), compatible with most US knobs (not import knobs).
- Long Brass Bushing: The 3/4" long shaft is perfect for guitars with thicker or curved tops.
- Complete Hardware Included: Comes with two nuts, a dress washer, and a lock washer to ensure a secure fit.
- Mounting Hole Compatibility: Requires a 3/8" (9.5mm) diameter mounting hole. Import guitars may need modification to fit this pot.
Before You Buy
Make sure your guitar has compatible mounting holes. Many import guitars (e.g., Epiphone, Ibanez, PRS SE) have smaller metric holes (~1/4") that will need to be widened to accommodate this potentiometer.
Whether you're upgrading your current setup or building a custom guitar, the CTS 500k pot long shaft is a reliable choice trusted by luthiers and guitar techs worldwide. Its smooth audio taper and durable design make it an essential component for achieving the perfect tone. Order yours today and experience the difference in sound quality!
