Electrosocket jack plate in Polished nickel finish w/mounting screws for Fender Telecaster®. Part is intended for use with Switchcraft USA made jacks, and requires a 7/8" mounting hole. Note:This is intended for use 1/4" jacks and will not work with guitars using metric sized components.

Whenever I get a new Telecaster, I immediately install one of these. Then, I never think about an output jack again, until it needs to be replaced!! Once installed, which is easy... it won't wiggle or push through. And, you're only worry will be... Why doesn't Fender just build their telecasters with these??? 🤷🏼♂️
Fits and does the job but maybe it would work better with a Tele that has a flat spot where the Jack goes. This one didn’t seat as well as the recessed kind with the rim.
The inability to use a right angle cable on my tele was always a source of annoyance for me. This fixed that issue. You may need to reconfigure some of the little pieces inside your input area to get this to work but it does the trick and looks nice. Surface scratches easily so if you care about aesthetics be gentle when installing.
I don't know why Fender is not putting these on their Telecaster guitars.

If you know how flimsy the original tale jacks could be, you know this thing is a god send! It works perfectly and now I don’t have to worry about any twisting. Great price too, worth every penny!
