- Specifications -

Potentiometer:

250K Ohms (Ω) Resistance - Ideal for single coil pickups to tame harsh high sounds.

±10% Tolerance - Ensures you get the intended tone you’re expecting from your pot.

Audio Taper - Mimics how humans perceive sound for a smooth transition throughout the entire range of motion.

Low friction rotation - Perfect for swells and quick adjustments.

Crystal Clear Stamping - Know exactly what your pot is at a glance! No need to meter or decipher complicated part numbers to know what you’re working with.

Solid 1/4" diameter shaft - Standard fit for US set-screw knobs.

Solid brass 1/4" high (short shaft) bushing - Will fit most control plate setups (Teles, Jazz Bass, P-Bass, etc.).

Compatible Mounting Hole - Requires 3/8" (9.5mm) diameter mounting hole.

Output Jack:

Simple design - The straightforward design facilitates easy repairs and maintenance, resulting in a longer lifespan compared to other jacks.

Nickel plated - Ensures strong and consistent signal quality.

3/8"-32 x .28” (>1/4") threading - Fits standard US-made guitar and amp jack plates and mounts.

Capacitor:

.047 microfarad capacitance - A strong capacitance to tame the treble of either a single-coil or high-output pickup.

400V voltage rating - Overkill for guitar circuits, but provides peace of mind for long-lasting performance.

±5% Tolerance - Ensures you get the intended tone you’re expecting from your cap.

Compact flattened design - Allows the cap to fit into nearly all control cavities or configurations.

Tinned copper leads - The best conductive material for your sound made incredibly easy to solder to any setup.

2” Tinned copper leads - Long leads will help accommodate any wiring setup, big or small!

Gavitt Cloth Wire:

Push-back cloth insulation - The two cloth insulators - an inner Celanese layer and lightly waxed outer cotton layer - can be pushed back with your fingers alone. No stripping or special tools needed!

Completely pre-tinned length - The entire length of the conductor is pre-tinned. No special preparation needed; anywhere you cut is ready to solder!

Stranded conductive wire - The stranded build of the copper wire makes it extremely easy to bend and manipulate. You’ll never have to fight stiff wire!

Before Purchasing

Make sure your guitar has compatible mounting holes - If you are using import guitar, you will need to drill or ream mounting holes wider to fit these pots. Import guitars (e.g., Epiphone, Ibanez, PRS SE models, ESP) typically have metric holes around 1/4" in diameter, while these pots require 3/8" diameter holes.
