Product Description

Serious P-90 Tone Without The Hum!

The Brickhouse BH-90 humbucker sized P-90 offers a big single-coil P-90 tone, with all of the power and grit. The highlight of these pickups is how they retain the clarity and top end dynamics of a single-coil, while avoiding the muddy or overly saturated sound of a humbucker. A standard single coil P-90 has amazing tone, but it's major drawback is the dreaded 60 cycle hum… Our BH-90s are perfectly quiet!

This makes them really versatile for a range of genres, from blues and rock to country and jazz. Best of all, these are humbucker sized to fit directly into any standard humbucker route! So if you're into trying something different from a standard humbucker, give these a spin. You will definitely be inspired by the open dynamics and harmonically rich tones of a P-90 without the noise.

Note:
The DCR reading is much higher than normal single coil P-90's due to the nature of their hum-canceling design. This is a case where DCR should not be considered as a measurement of output because these are equivalent in output to a vintage P-90 that ranged in DCR readings between 7-9k.
